Call for Student Research

An Invitation to Present Your Research

The Arkansas Psychological Association invites graduate and undergraduate students of psychology and related disciplines to participate in our hybrid conference featuring both live and virtual student presentations.

Student presentations will be held on Thursday, October 9th only. This is your chance to share your hard work and research with fellow psychology professionals and students across Arkansas!

Choose the presentation format that works best for you:

On-Site Poster

Present at Holiday Inn Presidential Hotel in Little Rock

Virtual Presentation

Present online to the ArPA conference audience

Hybrid Option

Combine on-site poster with in-person presentation

On-site Poster Set-up

Prepare your poster display

10:00 to 10:50

Coffee & Poster Presentations

On-site poster viewing during coffee break. Committee will select presentations for luncheon.

12:00 PM – 1:20 PM

Selected Student Presentations

Present your research during luncheon (virtual or in-person)

Submission Requirements

Submit an approximately 5-minute video showcasing your research. Be creative!

Each proposal must include:

  • Title of the presentation
  • Every authors’ name & classification (undergraduate, graduate student, or faculty mentor) & affiliation
  • First author’s mailing address, telephone number, and e-mail address
  • One- or two-page research summary (500 words max) divided into:
    • Background
    • Methods
    • Results
    • Conclusion
    • 3-5 keywords
  • A link to your video (YouTube)
  • Please include your preferred presentation format:
    • A poster to be presented on-site
    • An online delivered presentation
    • On on-site poster AND in-person presentation

 Submission Deadline: Monday, September 22nd by 5:00 PM
